Cosco Shipping has consolidated its offshore engineering and shipbuilding sector by merging three of its fabrication entities into one unit to cut costs and improve efficiency.
Incorporated in Shanghai on Friday, Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry (CHI) combines the engineering and fabrication facilities of Cosco Shipyard, Cosco Shipbuilding Industry and China Shipping Industry.
